Call for Academic Talks and Posters

The Flash Memory Summit (FMS) is an annual conference where companies and researchers meet to discuss the latest innovations and products in solid-state storage, non-volatile memory, and related areas. We invite students, postdocs, and faculty to present their latest research during the conference. We are looking for talks and/or posters of ongoing or completed work. We offer student travel grants, and free/discounted registration for students, postdocs, and faculty who participate through the university program of the conference (see below). FMS is the premier industrial event in solid-state storage and related areas, and is an excellent venue to present academic research to the industrial community for widespread exposure, with over 4,000 industrial attendees each year.

Submitting Talk Proposals and Posters

We invite presentations and posters on research related to the following topic:

Students and postdocs may submit poster proposals online to Saugata Ghose, the university coordinator for the conference by April 30. This year, we will have a best poster award at the conference. Announcements on presentations and posters selected for presentation at the summit are expected to be made by May 3. Travel grant awards will be announced at the same time. Final materials will be due on July 1, 2019.

Students who want to assist the conference staff for six hours during the event in exchange for a full-conference registration (specific times are negotiable (Monday – Thursday)) may submit an assistance offer online.
